LightForce Braces
LightForce™ custom braces offer a more modern treatment approach compared to traditional braces. As the only practice in the area offering LightForce braces, Heiner Orthodontics uses 3D-printed brackets designed to fit each tooth precisely, helping reduce treatment time, minimize wire changes, and improve overall comfort throughout treatment.
Airway-Focused Care
Airway orthodontics is a core part of our care approach. It focuses on creating healthy, functional smiles through proper jaw development and expansion. Dr. Heiner’s philosophy that “width is king” emphasizes building room for permanent teeth while supporting healthy airway development, especially with children who are evaluated early.
Phase 1 Treatment for Kids
Following the American Association of Orthodontists’ recommendation, Dr. Heiner encourages early evaluations starting around ages 7–9 for kids. Phase 1 treatment may include Rapid Palatal Expanders or Invisalign Palatal Expanders to create space for permanent teeth and support healthy development from an early age.
