Financial Coordinator

Hi my name is Sophia, I have been in the dental field for over 20 years and I love what I do! I enjoy seeing the transformations in everyone’s smiles…. It is my goal to help maximize a patients insurance benefits. I also make financial arrangements and handle all of the accounts.

I enjoy spending my time away from work with my adult children and grandchildren, going to the beach, hiking and camping.

I am one of the Treatment Coordinators for Dr H. I have worked in the dental field for over 17 years in other specialties and orthodontics is my favorite. I love being able to help our patients achieve the beautiful “Heiner Smile”.

Outside of the office I enjoy my 3 day weekends with my husband, kids and 3 grandkids. If I am not at home you can find me with my church family, camping, riding quads or at the movies.

Boosting confidence and making sure patients are greeted in a warm manner before and after each appointment is my goal!

I have been in orthodontics for 4 years with a background in cosmetics and medical aesthetics for over 25 years. I love helping others feel good about themselves.

My home life is spent with my teenage daughter or taking trips to Napa to see my adult son or my adult daughter in San Francisco.

I have been an orthodontic assistant for over 30 years! I enjoy my time with patients, helping to create their new smile.

Outside of the office, I enjoy working in my yard and playing with my two dogs, Timmy and CJ. My husband and I love baseball and we are big Giant's fans. I love spending time with my two adult children and I also love to travel. Disneyland is one of my favorite destinations. I love to shop and go on all the rides!

I have a major sweet tooth and I am known at the office for all the treats I like to share - especially donuts!

I enjoy meeting patients on their first visit and taking their starting photos and X-rays. It is fun to follow and document the progress of their new smiles, and show each patient how well they’re progressing toward their beautiful end results. But the most special moments of my workdays are seeing the smiles on patients’ faces when we take off their braces (or they complete Invisalign tray regimen) and they see their “new looks” for the first time.

I am married to my best friend and have two daughters. My favorite activities outside of work are going to the beach, gardening, and walking my dogs.

What's not to love about orthodontics? I love being a part of making a patient's smile beautiful!

I have over 17 years of experience working with Dr. Heiner. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two wonderful nephews. I also enjoy cooking for large family and friend gatherings. I have recently tried my hand at gardening...and I haven't killed anything yet! Yay!!

Over the past 10 years with Dr. Heiner, I’ve made my way around the office. I’ve assisted Dr. H and our patients chair side, as well as helped at the front desk with scheduling. Most recently I’ve been helping with all the office’s Invisalign needs as well as fabricating appliances in our in house lab!

When I’m not running around the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Kevin and staying busy with out 3 boys, Ben, Zac & Stetson. We love Raiders football! Watching and playing baseball and camping any time we can!

My oldest daughter was born with a cleft palate, which prompted me to pursue a career in orthodontics. I wanted to understand and know more about orthodontic treatment for special cases such as hers.

Watching our patients grow during their smile journey and getting to know them is very rewarding to me.

I am very excited to become a new homeowner with my partner and three daughters. I enjoy traveling to warm sunny places like the coast and visiting Disneyland. I am not a fan of the snow or cold weather!
